Due to phenomenal demand, the Gaiety Panto has announced extra performances of Rapunzel as tickets have been snapped up.
Rapunzel opened to sold out performances last Sunday 26 November and hosts its star-studded grand opening tonight, Wednesday 29 November. A limited number of tickets for dates between 30 November and 7 January are on sale now from €19.50 (including booking fee) with brand new extra dates added from 11 - 21 January 2018 and on sale now.
It wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit to the Gaiety Panto! The Gaiety Theatre has hosted the annual Christmas Panto each year since 1873. Today, families come from far and wide to experience the Gaiety Christmas Panto and for many it has become as much a family Christmas tradition as Santa himself!
Get tangled up with laughter at Rapunzel this year's Gaiety Panto. Let down your hair and join us as the Gaiety Panto give this marvellous tangled tale its magical, lavish and fun-loving touch. A pantomime extravaganza with singing, dancing and laugh out loud shenanigans - hair, there and everywhere! Join us as we follow Rapunzel on her hair-larious and hair-raising adventures as she tries to escape her Evil-Stepmother who has locked her away in the secret tower.
Legendary panto dame Joe Conlan, who celebrates his 28th year in the industry, will play "Nanny Ninny Noonah" and is joined by Ciara Lyons as "Rapunzel", Johnny Ward as "Johnny B Goode" and Nicholas Grennell as the King "Larry Lilly Loolah".
This is no ordinary panto, it's the Gaiety Panto!
