Over the past decade ARTrageous has been a huge success, raising more than $15 million. Today, EGSCF is one of the top Foster Care Agencies in New York City.

ARTraegous is a unique fundraising event benefiting foster children through art. Kids residing in foster care and a kids committee collaborate with a dynamic group of artists to help create artwork for auction. The artwork created, along with donated works of art and luxury items will be sold in a silent and live auction at the ARTrageous Gala Dinner and Art Auction.

Bloomberg to kick off the summer season in Coney Island with the announcement of two brand new thrill rides and the beginning of seven-day-a-week amusement operations. Later, BP Markowitz was on hand with actor Tony Danza as John "Cha Cha" Ciarcia celebrated the opening of several new amusements and eateries. Created by cabaret producer Joseph Macchia who is also the founder and the president of Help Is On The Way Today a grass roots non for profit organization that helps and assists children and teens living with HIV and AIDS in New York City.

Katori Hall's play Children of Killers will make its American premiere at the Castillo Theatre in September 2012. Groundbreaker Awardees also included David C. Banks, President and CEO, Eagle Academy Foundation, Valerie and William Bell, Founders, Sean Elijah Bell Community Center and Anderson J. Franklin, Ph.D. Honorable David S. Vega's daughter, Froom is a Vocal Major at New York's famous LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts (setting of the film FAME). Bill Connington, star of the award-winning play ZOMBIE (scheduled to be shot as a feature film) attended the concert as well. Connington met Froom, Vega, and Sheik backstage after the standing-ovation performance. See photos of the four stars at the event below!
