BREAKDOWN

FULL RANGE

SYNOPSIS: Minnesota’s Iron Range is so much. Deep green trees and deep blue lakes. Snowy hockey winters and hot boating summers. This new play is based on interviews with people from across the Iron Range, celebrating the region’s rich history while exploring the many dreams for its vibrant and important future.

SEEKING:

HEMA - white, female, 40s/early 50s. Grew up on the Range but got out as soon as she possibly could. Joined the military, saw the world, married a woman. Now back home for the first time in 20 years looking to reconnect with her ornery miner father. Shares a lot more with her stubborn old man than she'd care to admit.

BONNIE- Ojibwe, female, 20s/early 30s. Has lived on the Range her whole life and wants to start a new cycling business that would double as a community center. Hopeful. Sees possibilities for the future when others are stuck in the past.
