So how are you feeling, Jordanna? Thank you for asking…. As of right now, I am doing good. I’m trying really hard to stay on top of my classes, and to not let other things take priority. I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on that. I’ve implemented some strategies to help my brain not melt from overheating. 

All in all, I would say I had a pretty eventful first week of school! I’m definitely eager to see what the rest of the school year has in store for me.

GFour Productions, winners of 68 Drama Desk and 54 Tony Awards, today announced the cast of leading ladies for the Wilmington production of the international hit show Menopause The Musical, which will play the Playhouse in Rodney Square for one performance, November 11.

Possum Point Players presents  Radio Theater 2023 Live! The event is on Friday, September 8, 6:30 p.m. at the Lewes History Revival.

Melody Westphal of Georgetown was the winner of the Possum Puppet (Aslan) raffle conducted during the recent PJ’s production of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.  Melody is the mother of Lorraine Westphal, who had several roles in the production.  The Westphal family also helped with set construction for the show.

If you remember from my very first blog post, I went into this summer kind of bummed because my summer was shaping up to be something completely different than what I envisioned, and as I write about what the rest of my summer looks like, I see that this summer is looking to be a summer of achievements, career growth and fun, and I’m really proud of that.

I’m still learning how to be more effective in managing my time, but I hope these strategies on staying productive this summer were helpful! They’ve been very helpful for me. I’m definitely going to bring these strategies with me into the new semester.

What did our critic think of SOThe Preludium (i.e. prelude) begins Candlelight Music Theatre’s Sound of Music. Sung in Latin and – one must believe – meticulously rehearsed by Music Director Douglass Lutz and Sisters Margaretta (Neena Boyle) Berte (Lindsey Grant), Sophia (Leah Senseney) and Mother Abbess (Audra Casebier). My amazing trip to New York came to a close as my mom and I boarded our bus to take us back home to Delaware. My time in the big apple is something I’ll never forget. All in one day, I walked down Chinatown, traveled through time, and stepped foot on Fleet Street!
