The Savoy Ballroom at 224 E Commercial Street in Springfield, Missouri is a restored historic venue and home of the Dance With Me social dance school. Anne and Andy Walls founded Dance With Me in 2005 teaching couples their wedding first dance, and opened the Savoy in 2010 to give the school a permanent home. The room has original maple floors, 14-foot tin ceilings, nine crystal chandeliers and a courtyard, and is named after New York's Savoy Ballroom. Dance With Me teaches social partner dancing including swing, ballroom, country and Latin, with occasional hip hop, belly dance and line dance classes, through six-week series, drop-ins, workshops and private lessons. It also hosts socials, a weekly swing club and an annual Sock Hop.
