About this studio
Inspiring Dance is a Central Iowa studio based in Grimes, serving the greater Des Moines area and now in its 17th season. It offers classes, workshops and camps for both recreational and competitive dancers in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and tap, plus classes focused on strength and flexibility. Programming starts early: a Parent and Me class accepts children from 12 months, with independent classes from age 2. The studio was founded to provide quality instruction in a positive environment and says its classes suit students dancing for fun as well as those aiming at professional careers. Faculty have extensive training, and studios have sprung Marley floors. A competition team and the Team iD summer intensive run alongside the season.
