Best Foot Forward

Best Foot Forward is based at 100 Cobblestone Court in Victor, New York, across from Eastview Mall, with dance classes held at the Cobblestone Arts Center on Route 332 in Farmington. Run by Vanessa, it offers children's dance and children's theatre programs alongside summer theatre, a teen work program and adult fitness classes in barre, yoga, Pilates and weights. The dance program is structured by age: Creative Movement & Music for ages 2-4, Beginning Ballet/Tap/Jazz for ages 5-9, Ballet/Tap/Jazz for ages 10-14, and Musical Theater Dance for ages 10-16. The studio says it aims to serve the whole student, body and mind, drawing on a range of educational theories, and believes a multi-age, inclusive environment helps students learn by example and by assisting less experienced dancers, valuing the process of learning over the end result. Fall and Spring sessions each finish with a final performance, with costume and performance fees included in tuition. It also runs the Boundless Abilities Theatre Group for all ages and abilities.
