The Idea Fund Applications Due Friday October 30

The Idea Fund announces its second round of grants, now open statewide. The Idea Fund provides cash awards of $3500 each (plus $500 seed money once project and final report are completed) to 10 Texas-based, artist-generated or artist-centered projects that exemplify the unconventional, interventionist, conceptual, entrepreneurial, participatory, or guerrilla artistic practices that occur outside the traditional framework of support.

This Saturday, Halloween night, is the Theatre of Death's annual 'Trick & Treat' show. All audience members will receive a goodie bag full of sweets, treats, and tickets to other shows around town. Though not required, audience members are encouraged to come in costume, and at the end of the evening the best costumed audience member will receive a prize (hats and headdresses must be removed during showtime as to not block other audience members sight of the show).
