WaterTower Theatre (WTT) presents a very special holiday gift to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For three performances only, Broadway legend Betty Buckley and renowned pianist Kenny Werner will appear on the WaterTower Theatre Main Stage in Betty Buckley & Kenny Werner: Home for the Holidays.

Broadway-star and Tony-award winner Betty Buckley returns home to the North Texas area for the special intimate holiday concert performance. A premier vocalist, Buckley solidified her standing on Broadway with her winning a Tony Award as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats. She continued to win accolades for her range of performances with a second Tony nomination for her portrayal as Hesione in Triumph of Love. She received an Olivier nomination for her performance as Norma Desmond in the London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, which she repeated to more rave reviews on Broadway. In April of 2009, Ms. Buckley received the Texas Medal of Arts Award for Theater and was inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame in 2007.

Ms. Buckley is celebrating a 20 year collaboration with the pianist Kenny Werner, multi-Grammy nominated recording artist, author and composer. Buckley and Werner have recorded 11 CDs together, the most recent being Quintessence which features their jazz ensemble with selections from the Great American Songbook.

With a maximum seating capacity of 210, the Main Stage of the Addison Theatre Centre provides patrons the perfect opportunity to share in an intimate evening of holiday favorites. Premium seating in the first five rows of the theatre are available for $75. All other seats are $50. For an additional charge of $25, patrons can join Ms. Buckley at a post-performance reception after the final performance of each day where they may share in holiday desserts and cocktails with the legendary singer.

Betty Buckley & Kenny Werner: Home for the Holidays will take place on December 13 at 7 PM and December 20 at 7 PM and 9 PM on the Main Stage of the Addison Theatre Centre, which is located at 15650 Addison Road in Addison, Texas. Tickets are available November 18 by calling the WTT Box Office at 972.450.6232 or online at www.watertowertheatre.org. WaterTower Theatre subscribers may purchase their tickets in advance beginning November. 16.
