Guidelines Released For the Reopening of Live Theater in California

The California Department of Health said Friday that these new guidelines will go into effect on April 1. No indoor performances will be allowed for counties in the purple, red, orange or yellow tier. Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties will move from the purple tier to the red tier by Monday.
Segerstrom Center Receives $50,000 Boeing Grant For ED&I Arts Education Programs

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has received a $50,000 grant from The Boeing Company to support Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) classes, workshops, and residencies offered through the Center's Education Department Arts Teach program. Thanks to this grant, curated ED&I program offerings will be provided to qualifying schools or organizations at a free or reduced cost.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced that movies are returning to the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza in March. Four true iconic films: HIDDEN FIGURES on March 5, THE LEGO MOVIE on March 6, ROMAN HOLIDAY on March 12 and HELLO, DOLLY! on March 13. Each a classic in its own right. All movies will be closed captioned.
