Leading Columbus Performing Arts Organizations To Require Proof Of Vaccination For All Indoor Performances

Beginning October 8, 2021, a group of leading Columbus performing arts organizations will require all patrons, staff, and volunteers to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test in order to attend their indoor arts events and performances.

Hilliard Arts Council’s For Kids, By Kids production of Charlotte’s Web, the beloved children’s story by E.B White, features 20 talented young actors, grades 4-8. In the show, Wilbur, a young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher, is befriended by Charlotte, the barn’s spider, who proves to be “a true friend and good writer,” determined to save Wilbur. This is a play about loyalty and friendship that will give audiences of all ages a thoughtful, heartwarming and fun-filled experience. Performances run Sept 17th thru the 19th, 2021 at the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center, 5425 Center St, Hilliard, OH, 43026. Disney’s Frozen KIDS and JR. is playing at Memorial Theater from Friday, Sept 17 through Sunday, Sept 26. Evening show curtain is at 7:30pm and matinees at 2:00pm. Short North Stage invited the audience to join them for a scrumptious British Bake-Off themed Gala after the Friday, September 3, Opening Night performance. They mixed and mingled with the cast of NOISES OFF while enjoying delicious savory and sweet confections from local baker, Chonny Bakes (@chonnybakes) and toasting to a successful opening. Their Green Room space was transformed for the event with room for social distancing. Masks Required in CAPA Venues Beginning September 1

Beginning September 1, 2021, CAPA will require all patrons, staff, and volunteers to wear masks at all times while inside CAPA venues. This includes the Ohio Theatre, Palace Theatre, Southern Theatre, Lincoln Theatre, and the Riffe Center theatres including the Davidson Theatre and three studio theatres. Free, disposable masks will be available to patrons upon request.
