Diablo Ballet's 29 th season continues with a mixed bill titled Swan Lake Suite, featuring selections from the classic ballet staged by Sean Kelly performed to Pyotr Tchaikovsky's majestic score. Diablo Ballet's Suite includes the White Swan Pas de deux, Black Swan Pas de deux, First Act Pas de trois, czardas, variations and grande finale. Amanda Seyfried has revealed that she would 'kill' to do Mean Girls on Broadway with Lindsay Lohan and the original film's cast. Multi-genre singer Dam Vinh Hung and singer, actress, and philanthropist Ha Phuong crowned an awards ceremony that followed ten days of film screenings and festivities featuring Asian voices from around the world. Seventeen motion pictures screened in AWFF’s competition and Last Film Show (India) took home the Snow Leopard Award for Best Film.

The “Sun, I Rise” music video, directed by Ja-Wan Gardner, captures Dixon’s unique ability to subvert genres without necessarily blurring them together via the retro, dreamlike visuals. The song’s symphonic instrumentals reach an epic peak as Dixon spits hard-nosed bars about his growth and being far from where he began.

The company's mission to produce exciting musicals specifically highlighting the talents of Pittsburgh-area artists makes it feel somehow organically part of the community; much as I love seeing the talents of major Broadway stars at Pittsburgh CLO every years, there's a thrill in seeing a Front Porch show and knowing 'all of this was made here.' Though Front Porch's impresario and producer Leon S. Zionts passed away several years ago, he has remained an active member of its creative community, as the shortlist of shows he crafted with fellow producers Bruce E. G. Smith and Nancy D. What did our critic think of THE WIZARD OF OZ at CM Performing Arts Center? As soon as CM Performing Arts Center's live orchestra struck up the first few chords of 'The Wizard of Oz's' iconic overture, a wave of nostalgia hummed throughout the Noel S Ruiz Theatre. While I have managed to push through and conquer the start of my Sophomore year, I have faced many challenges regarding my workload and responsibilities along the way. Each semester I always find it difficult to create a routine that perfectly balances my school work, job, and social life and just when I think I’ve fallen into the perfect rhythm, something interferes that completely throws it off track.

As students, sometimes we feel like we have lots of things to do and writing them on our phones it’s not always the best option. So this time I’ll share with you why I still love agendas.

Turning eighteen is a milestone in any teenager’s life. It brings a newfound sense of freedom to the world, allows young people to try new things, and helps us get a grip on adult life. However, as a college student and performer in a large city, this otherwise small milestone is much more important. I graduated a year early in high school, and went straight to college at seventeen to pursue musical theatre and comedy. For the most part, my age wasn’t a problem and I could live college life to its fullest. However, as soon as I began to audition for productions in my area, I ran into a tough issue.
