The theme of this year's event The Critics' Darlings: 90+ Point Finds brings together wines that have been rated 90 points or higher** by respected wine critics. This world-class wine experience provides guests access to wines that have been highly acclaimed for characteristics such as overall quality, taste profile, body and aroma. The tasting exploration at The Generous Pour is meant to encourage guests to try new wine varietals and regions, as well as educate on specific notes and best pairings.

"The Capital Grille is already known for its award-winning wine list, so for the ninth year of The Generous Pour, we want our guests to experience acclaimed 90-point wines that complement the signature flavors of our dinner menu," said Brian Phillips, The Capital Grille's Advanced Sommelier. "Guests can enjoy wines from California's Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Santa Barbara regions, as well as Oregon's Willamette Valley to round out this year's line-up. We believe the 'Critics' Darlings' paired with items across our menu provide an exclusive tasting experience unmatched in the industry."

During The Generous Pour, servers will suggest pairings for each course, based on individual preferences, allowing guests to craft their own personalized wine dinner. The wines of The Generous Pour 2017 collection and recommended pairings from The Capital Grille's Advanced Sommelier include:
