Nickelodeon, in partnership with Red Tail Productions, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Red Tail Entertainment, and CB Entertainment, announced today Nickelodeon's Double Dare Live, the multi-city live stage tour inspired by the iconic TV game show Double Dare.  Double Dare Live will play Rochester Auditorium Theatre on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 7:30 pm!  Featuring original host Marc Summers and his beloved sidekick Robin Russo, the live stage show will debut in Fayetteville, NC, on October 30 and will tour North America through November.

Broadway's Devin Ilaw (Les Miserables, Miss Siagon) and Jonah Platt (Wicked, Jesus Christ Superstar Live) will complete the cast of Starring Buffalo's upcoming concerts of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME. They play Clopin and Captain Phoebus, respectively, and join previously announced visiting artists Alex Wyse (Spring Awakening, Lysistrata Jones) as Quasimodo, and Dan'yelle Williamson (Memphis, Rocky The Musical) as Esmeralda. Noted Buffalo vocalist and conductor Keith Ersing plays Frollo, and all will be joined by a company of star Buffalo actors including Leah Berst, Charmagne Chi, Arianne Davidow, Matthew Iwanski-Jackson, Dudney Joseph, Ben Michael Moran, Katy Miner, Raphael Santos.

The KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival runs 11 days for the first time this year, so officially opens on Wednesday, September 12 and closes on Saturday, September 22. One of the fastest-growing and most-attended U.S. fringe festivals and now the largest multi-genre arts festival in New York State as well, the 2018 Fringe will offer more than 500 performances and events again this year - over 150 of which are free of charge - in 20+ venues in downtown Rochester.

The year is 1929, and Tampa-based cigar rollers Marela and Ofelia anxiously await the arrival of their new, dashingly handsome "lectore." Anna in the Tropics is written by Nilo Cruz and won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 2003. The play centers around the common Cuban tradition in which lectors are employed by cigar factories to educate and entertain the workers through the reading of novels. The arrival of a new lector is a cause for celebration, but when he begins to read aloud from Anna Karenina, he unwittingly becomes a catalyst in the lives of his avid listeners, for whom Tolstoy, the tropics, and the American dream prove a volatile combination.

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to announce its fourth annual fundraiser: Buffalo Stories.  Buffalo Stories 2019 will feature guest of honor, Shelley Drake, Senior Vice President of the M&T Bank Charitable Foundation. A native of Buffalo and graduate of Buffalo Seminary, Ms. Drake has been with M&T Bank for 47 years. In her role as Senior Vice-President, she has overseen the distribution of more than $20 million in grants annually to more than 3,000 not-for-profit organizations throughout the bank's markets which includes many in the Western New York Community.  She has also served on the boards of numerous organizations, currently sitting on the board of both the Burchfield-Penney Art Center and Great Lakes Health System.
