The indefinable, world music-tinged improvisational outfit Toubab Krewe is coming back to New York City for a performance at Brooklyn's famous Knitting Factory on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Touring in support of their forthcoming new record Stylo, the Asheville, NC based quintet will bring their swirl of African traditions, jam sensibilities, and international folk music to Brooklyn for a sure-to-be-memorable night of music.
Toubab Krewe previously announced their return after a two-year hiatus, with this Brooklyn show part of a larger tour that will go up-and-down the East Coast of the United States, with appearances set for Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Nashville, and more. The band will also hit Colorado for a four-night run in February, and will bookend their tour with stops at Fractal Fest in Key Biscayne, FL, and both weekends of this summer's mega-festival Electric Forest.
