Omari Banks is a native Anguillan singer-songwriter and guitarist who fuses reggae's rhythmic roots with rock, soul, blues, jazz, and global folk. The son of reggae legend Bankie Banx, Banks first took the stage at age five performing alongside his father, and his debut album Move On reached #4 on German Riddim Magazine's Top 10 Reggae Albums. His single "Unafraid" topped Caribbean charts, and he has toured internationally with Grammy-winning group Morgan Heritage and performed at SXSW and the St. Kitts Music Festival. He continues to tour extensively across the U.S. and Caribbean, known for his breezy grooves, sparkling vocals, and deft guitar work.
