Winner of the Great American Jazz Piano Competition, pianist and composer Laszlo Gardony leads a quartet featuring Don Braden on tenor saxophone and flute, drummer Yoron Israel, and bassist John Lockwood. Gardony has been noted for his fluid pianism by The New York Times, and two of his albums made DownBeat Magazine's Best of the Year list. The quartet performs as part of the Spire Center's Lobby Series, with all three accompanying musicians holding faculty positions at Berklee College of Music.
