Launching its second season as Cape Cod's professional opera company, Opera Theater of Cape Cod (OTCC) presents Giacomo Puccini's opera classic La Bohème in a preview performance on Friday, August 30, 7:30 pm at Wellfleet Preservation Hall, Wellfleet. Two mainstage performances are held on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7, 7:30 pm at The Studio Theater at The Tilden Arts Center, Cape Cod Community College, 2240 Iyannough Road, W. Barnstable. The production is conducted by Music Director Joseph Turbessi, with stage direction by Ethan DePuy, produced by Eileen Christiansen.

There is quite a lot to like about this exemplary Williamstown Theatre Festival Commission and recipient of an Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. I've discussed the play with several people who've seen it.  They all enjoyed and spoke highly of the experience, but each focused on a different aspect of its many nuances and facets. You would be crazy not to go and see what it says to you if / while you can. TELL ME I'M NOT CRAZY continues only through August 3rd at Williamstown Theatre Festival's Nikos Stage.

The late-night service provides another option for festival goers to enjoy an entire day of music. The Seastreak will pick up festival goers from Vineyard Haven after the final performances and bring them to New Bedford. Anyone who purchases a ticket for the ferry through Seastreak.com is guaranteed a spot on the boat. The Seastreak will leave at 10:00 PM Saturday and Sunday allowing guests plenty of time to enjoy the show and still arrive at the dock before it leaves.

Actor/producer Hal Scardino has joined the cast of 'Saltonstall's Trial' in the role of Reverend Rowland Cotton. Scardino has an extensive list of Hollywood credits including 'The Indian in the Cupboard', 'Searching for Bobby Fischer', and playing opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in 'Marvin's Room'. He was the assistant director for 'All the President's Men?' in London's West End. He is Co-founder of the Open Art Foundation and Co-producer of the film 'We Are Not Princesses' that premiered in New York City last year.
