DanceBrazil will premiere an exciting new piece entitled Batuke during a one-night-only performance in Blackman Auditorium on Friday April 8, 2011. Don't miss a unique opportunity to experience the energy and creativity of this incredible group as they add a new piece to their stunning repertoire.

For over 30 years, DanceBrazil has thrilled audiences across the U.S. and throughout the world with its dazzling artistry, inspired by the cultural tapestry of Brazil. Whether in the streets or on stage, DanceBrazil never fails to enthrall audiences with the company's unique fusion of Afro -Brazilian movement, contemporary dance and capoeira. At Northeastern, they will bring audiences to their feet.
