Wasn’t even aware they were together! Happy Michelle has found love again. She deserves it.

I thought Thomas Kail was married to Angela Christian (aka the original Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie). It seems Kail and Williams got together when he was directing her in Fosse/Verdon. How very Hollywood.
When I read Michelle Williams I thought of the one from Destiny’s Child first and was excited about the possibility of LMM and Beyonce at a wedding together but congrats nonetheless.

According to Wikipedia, he still is. Life imitating Art imitating Life?
Super disappointing that Thomas is doing this to his wife. I guess once you’re big and famous, you can just swap your faithful (Only God knows though), “ordinary” wife for a big celebrity.
Hopefully Thomas will open up on his side of the story.
Per a friend who worked production on FOSSE/VERDON, Kail was already separated and in the process of divorce when FOSSE/VERDON was in pre-production. He was officially divorced at the start of 2019 while the series was filming and which wrapped in early April 2019.

That makes sense. And since he’s not an A-list name, also makes sense that it wouldn’t be in the news/Wikipedia.
...back then, untrue today, you couldn’t sort of have illegitimate children, ah, you couldn’t be pregnant and say I’m going to marry him tomorrow, that was out of wedlock and would have wrecked your career...- Bette Davis, Donahue, 1987
Then I apologize, Valentina and to you guys for my comment then. The whole idea of cheating just frustrates me in a personal level and I have seen someone close to me very hurt in their marriage.
Even though she officially split with her husband this past April, they separated at the beginning of the year. So, it seems like they were both single (her not legally) when they got together. Her official divorce wasn't covered in the media, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. I assume she is 4 or 5 months along because she is showing, and with the Golden Globes on Sunday, she didn't want all the speculation and gossip. Congratulations to them, what a whirlwind!
This quote she says about Heath Ledger is so sweet.
“I never gave up on love. I always say to Matilda, ‘Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes.’”
But this quote she implies about her ex-husband Phil...
She continued, “Don’t settle. Don’t settle for something that feels like a prison or is hard, or hurts you. If it doesn’t feel like love, it’s not love.”
The article is slightly misleading. She was talking about love in general, or perhaps her past relationships before she got married. This quote is from the Vanity Fair article she did a few weeks after getting married to him:
“Obviously I’ve never once in my life talked about a relationship,” she says, “but Phil isn’t anyone else. And that’s worth something. Ultimately the way he loves me is the way I want to live my life on the whole. I work to be free inside of the moment. I parent to let Matilda feel free to be herself, and I am finally loved by someone who makes me feel free.”
Oh, thanks for clarifying that! :) I guess whoever edited this article didn't think about what it might be implying for those who never read that original article!
It’s really no one’s business what goes on behind closed doors in anyone’s personal life. It’s 2020, after all. Having a baby before marriage is no longer scandalous, nor is divorce or even leaving your spouse for another person. It may be painful, but that’s life. The Post story is gross.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
