I know they are trying to go a different route from Michael Keaton but that costume and wig thou....
Well that was a very long paced show. They really need to rethink this and re cast it’s leads. The boat ride to Skull Island took forever! I just wanted to yell get on with it! Skull Island could of been something, but that set ARGH.
Kong and the Kings Court worked their butts off. The puppet was astounding. Act two was much better. The act two opener, and the finale...hmm ....

Saw it on Saturday also. Sat directly in the center in Row H. Great seat. Such a small audience but we did our best to cheer them on. It was an enjoyable night and that was it. Nicole and the men were outstanding. Wishing they could of done/interacted more with the set. The costumes thou ....that’s another story.

As others have already said, she still sings the songs, 25+ years later, with the same gusto. Hits all the notes. Holds all the notes. It's still thrilling. And no one has better mic technique.
Her 54 Below shows are great, but it's still wonderful to
I also went Wednesday afternoon via an amazing seat in the balcony. I wanted more, but I felt cheated after the performance. It could of been more campy/flashier (heaven on earth scene-how boring). I was even bored with Peppermint. Everyone was going through the motions. I didn't connect once with anyone on the stage. It will work great on tour.
I enjoyed it. Is it as fun as the first film? No, but the cast was great, and Meryl had everyone sobbing in the theater. Standouts were Josh, Christine, and Maria Vacratsis.
