The original, for its faults, had Billy Wilder's direction which is just so in-step with that genre, and the trio of Hepburn-Bogart-Holden. Bogart seems to be the odd-one-out but for some people he worked in the role. It's also just funny to see him play that sort of role. I think Julia Ormond was ok in the title role, I liked her in other things, but clearly what made t

The 1961 multi-Oscar winning film was itself an adaptation of the original 1957 Broadway production. This one will be its own adaptation of the original 1957 Broadway production. They're not remaking/adapting the 1961 film so enough with this comparison talk.

I’m surprised Mulan and Hercules didn’t make it to Broadway yet out of all the other Disney animated movies from the 90’s. Or any other animated film by whoever Ferngully, Thumbelina Pebble and the Penguin Cats Don’t Dance or Quest for Camelot

I’m surprised they are cutting it from future productions though! It’s a very pretty song, and has become a favorite of musical theater girls to coveron YouTube (and in singing auditions)."
If understudies are on, won't be a big deal as long as I enjoy the show. Most of the time when I see a touring show, at least all or most of the principal actors are present.
