The random price increase to $179 for those rows E-J mezzanine seats makes those $109 seats an even better deal.

Right? Right?? Lol

In all seriousness, I am so excited for this. Can’t wait to see it in 13 months!

Have over a year to plan and make back the money I just spent. But come on, YOLO. (Oh, Down to one kidney now)  And if they give the kind of entertaining show they gave for DOLLY, I say, "RUDIN, & TELECHARGE: TAKE MY MONEY!!!"

I have never smiled so much through a show the way I did (both times) but especially for Bernadette Peters in the title role. AGAIN...not just the cast, but I trust the creative team as well! Can't wait, see you next year MAAAAAAAAAAAAAARIAN.

There's an Audience Rewards field on your Telecharge profile. (Account Information tab on desktop/laptop). If you buy through Telecharge, it should link automatically.

By phone, call Customer Service closer to the show so rep can add manually. I just spoke with rep a few minutes ago because I ordered my tix over the phone and this is what he told me. Hope that helps.

I must have bought my ticket right after the price increase because I paid $195.25 for H2. I had forgotten these were on sale today until I saw Hugh's Instagram post.

So they haven't officially announced it's going in the Winter Garden, but they're selling tickets already? I guess they need to wait until Beetlejuice announces their closing first.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

re: Audience Rewards. I called telecharge and they said this show isn’t linked with the rewards yet so you’ll have to call them back when they do offer points and they’ll add them on. But it won’t be automatic.

If it's the Winter Garden, I think mezz. overhangs Row O in orchestra -- according to an old Stubs I have.

Yeah I’m with you. Really excited to have such amazing seats for what is hopefully a total spectacle of a show. Crazy that it’s more than a year away, but I will have a lot of time to plan a great trip and a couple of other shows we’ll end up seeing while we’re there.

Which would make sense because the price point changed from O to P by more than $100.

People ask why we're not seeing more diverse, original, interesting musicals on Broadway and then you take a look at this thread and then you remember.

Jesus, snark much? People can like two things at once. I loved Great Comet, The Band’s Visit and Hamilton, have Hadestown high on my list, etc. etc. I also happen to be excited for a revival of a classic, especially given the two stars. Not sure why we can’t have both things...

I love this thread. I wish I could see this, but me and my husband are on a budget (My fault, we are paying off my cancer therapy) .. and this costs more than a subscription to one of the many amazing theatres in dc .. so I have to pass. NOTHING is worth this price.

So the top price isn't in the "Bette Midler Hello, Dolly!" range?

– I believe Midler's full 10 months were on sale from day 1; this is just the first 4 months, with another 6-8 to be put on sale later.

– At quick glance, the full Winter Garden was not on sale today (some side seats missing from the chart).

– The Winter Garden has a larger Orchestra and fewer "bad" seats (no overhang in the mezz, no high balcony), which helps give Music Man a higher average ticket price.

– Some of the best premiums probably haven't been released yet.

All that to say, there will be plenty of opportunities to jack up the prices later in the run.

Ended up grabbing some of the $109 tickets for January 2021. I’ve never bought tickets for anything that far ahead.

Where did you find tickets that cheap? I don't see anything under $179

Think I am going to wait on this. These prices are insane, and I'm not comfortable dropping that kind of money without knowing the theater. And I was planning on going in January and every date I checked in January still had a TON of seats still available

Calming my anxiety, does Scott Rudin ever manage not to deliver a show by the scheduled first preview date? Besides unforeseen accidents like Gary.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
