Ravenclaw’s list is pretty great. GYPSY to me is the best book of a musical period. It could stand on its own as a play.
I’d add CABARET. It holds up and still packs a punch.
Go see Vosk. The vocals are incredible, but the acting is there as well. She reminded me of Shoshana Bean in her interpretation.

These seats are well worth it. Sat there to see Bette last year and while you miss a little, you’re still so close to the action. I recommend sitting house left, as the Horace/Miss Honey scene is more fun to watch.
A much better location. I had forgotten just how off the path the Cort is until the last time I was in the city. The theatre looks like no one been in it for a decade.
