Ehhh. That did nothing for me. I'm still trying to see LMM as Bert working out. Just can't see it ending up well.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
The design really had me when it started. That street looks perfect. It really pulled me in. And then it lost me at the end. Something about that mirror bit just totally turned me off to the whole thing. It had best be just for the teaser and not actually in the movie because it just seemed really forced. It was one of those moments that just seemed to be screaming.... "LOOK! They did this in the original and now WE are doing it! Do you like us now?! Do you?!"

This story takes place 25 years after Poppins arrives, Lin is playing a character named Jack.
My question is, what will this characters back story be, How did this Puerto Rican man get to England in 1926, there were not many Ricans in England then and now..So???

The story centers around a fvcking flying nanny, me thinks you can suspect your disbelief for Lin.
Always hated Mary Poppins. Never saw the charisma in her or why anyone wanted to be around her, very cold and egotistical. Saw the play in the London before it came over here and was not fond of it either. Wanted to like it even with that whole number with the toys coming after the children.
Wait, what bad buzz? I feel like people have been largely excited about this one. I think it looks — and SOUNDS — like it could be really magical. I'm very eager to see more. (And, if the color palette does indeed shift once she lands... I hope it does.)

There was a thread that has since been deleted. There has been test screenings going on and some discussion about those screenings.

Well, I loved the Into The Woods movie so maybe I’ll like this. I will say that this teaser doesn’t do much for me, but I’m guessing it’s not supposed to be a full trailer.
Wow. Completely unremarkable teaser. Shocked. This should have been a slam dunk for Disney to create anticipation especially since they were dropping it during the airing of the Academy Awards. Looked kinda cheap. Even the Twitter commercial left me feeling more.
I'm very excited for this one. The teaser looked really neat and I have a lot of optimism that this will turn out to be a lovely movie to watch. Will it be on par with the original? Not really, but the effort shows and it's clear that Rob Marshall is a big fan of the original and wants to do well with the sequel so I'm giving it a shot.
I'm more excited for this than the upcoming Disney movie Christopher Robin coming in August.

When oh when do you think we'll get a REAL trailer for this??? Is D23 happening? I figured it would be attached to Incredibles 2 or Ant Man....but nothing. Mamma Mia maybe? Winnie The Pooh?
