Haven't seen it but were those the original Aint Too Proud costumes? Either way, they did a fantastic job!

Good Lord that was awful from Jagged Little Pill. Came across like bad community theatre that costumed via an Old Navy holiday sale. And the vocals? Ouch.

I am thrilled to see "live" theatre no matter what form but is that excerpt a true reflection of the show?

To be fair, I believe "Broadway prices" are a thing of the past and will be drastically lowered to draw back people to the theatre. Diana may survive (if they re-open) due to a lowered ticket price?

Good for you Troy. And LOL at the amount of "THERE IS NO WAY THIS WILL HAPPEN!" "The Shuberts are never going to approve this!" Etc.

 

This does lead me to believe other shows may be considering their options...

I can appreciate Rudin committed to bringing back his other shows. Somewhat comforting Broadway will at least return with 4 shows. 

 

Oh, and let me add...I am all for a big glorious parade to kick off the return of Broadway. 

Gosh, Im not sure how some shows will manage. I sadly expect numerous closing notices this week. 

A source told me, now full transparency I don't know this source well but they are connected to the topic at hand...but the source says, "Cancelling the TONYS isn't an option, that's not the spirit of theatre."

Instead there is a serious discussion that whatever opened before Broadway shut down, THEY will be eligible for Tonys. Anything else that manages to still open/survive, will have the option to either fall into nowhere or be pushed into the 20-21 year. That

To be fair alot of these shows did well because they added a 9th show.

Somewhat related to the topic but can someone tell me why BWW photographers take THE closest possible photos of cast members/red carpet attendees? Drives me nuts. 

Zellweger getting raves, Id be shocked if she wins but I predict an Oscar nom at least.

Thoroughly confused what Hadestown is about.

Any fans of the show have an opinion on that performance and if it sold tickets?

Here to echo, unless The Cher Show brings out the queen herself, Beetlejuice is the only show to really understand the type of performance you gotta bring. Really enjoyed it!
