Century High School's Opening Knights Present THE JUNGLE BOOK

Century High School's award-winning Opening Knights Drama Club returns to the stage with a lively production of Rudyard Kipling's classic tale, The Jungle Book. Performances are November 11, 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. and November 13 and 20 at 2 p.m.
Howard County Arts Council Celebrates 40 Years At Celebration Of The Arts In Howard County

On Saturday, October 2nd, the Howard County Arts Council hosted the 24th Annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County. This year's benefit gala welcomed nearly 200 guests to the in-person performance at the Jim Rouse Theatre for the Performing Arts in Columbia and another 100 to a virtual live-stream, raising more than $40,000 (net) to support the arts in Howard County. Since 1998, more than $1.6 million has been raised through Celebration of the Arts!

The Hippodrome Foundation, Inc. has announced the commencement of an $18.6 million renovation and revitalization project of the M&T Bank Pavilion at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center. The M&T Bank Pavilion project marks the final phase of the renovation of the complex and will convert the currently underutilized space into one of Maryland's newest state-of-the-art flexible community event and performance spaces.
