Everyman Theatre is excited to announce ReWINEd, a new series of curated dinners and play-based conversations at Dovecote Cafe, featuring local produce from Strength to Love, a Baltimore based urban farm. This new event will take place at the cafe over three Sunday evenings: October 2, November 6 and December 18, from 6PM TO 9PM.

The Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore Hotel is honoring Everyman Theatre for 25 years of excellence in Baltimoreby hosting Shake 'n' Stir, a Season Kick-Off Party to benefit Everyman, on October 8, 2016 at 7 PM. The highlight of the evening will be a menu of specially crafted cuisine and cocktails that are themed to match each show of the 2016/17 Season. The event will also include dancing, a photo booth, raffles and more.

Annapolis Symphony Orchestra Announces Sold Out Opening Night

The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will kick off its 2016-17 season in grand style with its annual Opening Night Celebration at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on September 30 and October 1, 2016. The three-part celebration, which sold out on Monday September 12, includes a pre-concert cocktail reception, a symphony concert, and a post-concert champagne and dessert celebration where guests will mingle with the maestro, soloist, and musicians.
Women's Voices Take Spotlight in Second Season of Everyman Salon Series

Everyman Theatre is excited to announce the return of the Salon Series Women's Voices in the 16/17 Season. Thanks to last season's overwhelming demand and sold-out performances, this year, the informal play reading series will increase from four to six plays and will take place over the entire 16/17 Season. The six plays of The Salon Series complement the Main Stage production and feature the work of female playwrights. These Salon readings will also be directed by the women of Everyman's Resident Acting Company and hosted by well-known and accomplished women in our area.

It is a tour-de-force for the actress who portrays Juliana. Juliana is called on to deliver a huge range of emotions, sharp at some times, pathetic at others. She must be violent, querulous, authoritative, analytical, disoriented, witty, nicotine-deprived, paranoid, serene ... etc., etc., etc. She must even wolf down what looks like a complete Chinese carryout dinner. Julia-Ann Elliott seems to have this mercurial role firmly in hand.
