The ten-track LP marks the latest collaboration of Sam Koechlin with his longtime producer / 'Second Beatle' Daniel Schlett (Iggy Pop; The War on Drugs) and mastering engineer Greg Calbi (David Bowie; Bruce Springsteen), and features Chris Egan (Solange; Blood Orange) on drums and Josh 'JD' Werner (Ghostface Killah; CocoRosie) on bass.

Angelina Jolie will play famed opera singer Maria Callas in Pablo Larraín's new biopic. The screenplay was written by Steven Knight. Larraín most recently directed Spencer, which starred Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana. In 2016, Natalie Portman starred in his film Jackie, following the life of Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

Indie pop singer-songwriter Katherine Li unveils her debut EP, Crush[ed] via Music Soup Entertainment in partnership with TikTok SoundOn. The project was written by Li and produced by Joe Avio. On Wednesday, she released lead track “Miss Me Too” which captures the candor and initmacy of the EP, with a music video to come.

Singer/songwriter Stela Cole has released her triumphant new single “Bye Bye Blues,” out now via Ultra Records. A punchy pop beat, synthesized hand-claps, and shimmering harmonies wrap around a slick bass line as Stela redefines what a breakup anthem sounds like as she encourages listeners to dance their tears away.

“I Do” is the latest continuation of Lost Kings’ run of new music in 2022 and follows performances at Coachella and Electric Zoo earlier this year. This summer, the pair partnered with Jordan Shaw for “Under The Influence” and collaborated with singer-songwriter Kiddo A.I. last month on “Save Me.”

Boston-area singer-songwriter Mark Erelli has released “The Man I Am” the latest from his forthcoming LP, Lay Your Darkness Down. Erelli penned the single in tribute to his wife, Polly. “The Man I Am” follows the release of “You’re Gonna Wanna Remember This,” a track he co-wrote with his “musical big sister,” GRAMMY-winning artist Lori McKenna.

Charlie Cunningham returns with ‘Downpour’, his first new music in over two years. The song represents a new chapter in Charlie’s career. ‘Downpour’ was written by Charlie, and produced by Sam Scott and Gareth Jones, the latter of whom also mixed the track. It was recorded at Charlie’s home in Buckinghamshire.

“The Empty Vault” is their first release since their critically acclaimed LP released in 2020, Hide and Seek. “'The Empty Vault' is a meditation on the 1938 suicide of socialite and aspiring actor Dorothy Hale,” explains Suit of Lights principal songwriter Joe Darone, who handles vocals, keys, bass, and programming duties on the track.
