The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) has announced today that renowned British comedian James Veitch will host the 2019 British Academy Britannia Awards. Veitch will be joined on stage by this year's presenters – Vin Diesel, Donald Glover, Lupita Nyong'o, John C. Reilly and Kerry Washington – who will present each honoree with a newly redesigned Britannia Award created by former BAFTA Los Angeles Newcomer, Gary McMonnies.

ABC News Announces New Podcast That Follows The Search For Notorious Murderer Lester Eubanks

Recently the U.S. Marshals added notorious murderer Lester Eubanks, who's been on the run for over 45 years, to their 15 Most Wanted list. ABC News' Senior Investigative Reporter Matthew Mosk is there as one of the agency's star investigators, Deputy U.S. Marshal David Siler, and the group tirelessly search for Eubanks, for the new podcast “Have You Seen This Man?” The first two episodes of the six-part series debut on Wednesday, October 23. The podcast is hosted by Sunny Hostin, ABC's “The View” Co-Host and Host and Executive Producer of ID's “Truth About Murder,” with reporting by Mosk.

E! announced today that celebrated multi-award winning actor and producer Jennifer Aniston will receive “The People's Icon of 2019” award at the “E! People's Choice Awards.” Aniston will be honored for her fan favorite performances in movies and television, including 2019's Netflix hit “Murder Mystery,” for which she is also nominated in the Female Movie Star of 2019 category. The “E! People's Choice Awards” will be broadcast live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Sunday, November 10 from 9:00-11:00pm ET/PT.

Luke Lalonde Announces Sophomore Solo LP THE PERPETUAL OPTIMIST

Luke Lalonde, the acclaimed lead singer of indie-rock mainstays, Born Ruffians announces his forthcoming sophomore solo album The Perpetual Optimist will arrive November 22 via Paper Bag Records/Warp Publishing.  Lalonde released the title-track single today, sharing an endearing video.  In his time with the Ruffians and over five full-length records, Lalonde has become known as a prolific solo writer in his own right, collaborating with a variety of artists across several genres, including Caribou. In 2012, he released his debut solo effort, Rhythymnals, which found Lalonde exploring a more electronic space, moving from his signature New Wave howl to a more echoey, crooning pure-pop sensibility.
