Music Theater Works has announce the cast and creative team for the third production of its 2025 season, Godspell, sponsored by the Whirled Peas Foundation and presented in partnership with Curt’s Café, in the North Theatre at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, 9501 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, October 23 - November 16.

Canadian alt-comedy/queer theatre duo Creepy Boys (Sam Kruger & S.E. Grummett) hit it big this month at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The City of West Hollywood’s Free Theatre in the Parks! and Coeurage Ensemble will present a new adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Pericles. There will be six performances only on Saturday and Sunday at 4pm from September 6–21.

The season opens on Wednesday, September 10, with the legendary Righteous Brothers as Bill Medley brings their iconic sound back to life with timeless hits including “Unchained Melody” and “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’.”

Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) will open its 2025–2026 “Timeless Tales” season with a laugh-out-loud, world-premiere adventure for the whole family: Not Your Mother’s Goose! The show will run October 3- November 2, 2025.

Young, Queer, and Stupid is a trio of short comedic plays diving headfirst into the messy, awkward, and often hilarious experiences of being young, queer, and, well… sometimes just plain stupid.

Tash York’s Chaos Cabaret will be performed at the ETU Ballroom in the Fringe Hub, located at Trades Hall on the corner of Lygon and Victoria Streets in Carlton, VIC. Audiences can catch the show on October 3 and October 5.

In a recent statement, director Chris Columbus has dismissed any hopes of reuniting the original “Harry Potter” cast, branding the idea as “impossible” due to the fallout from J.K. Rowling’s controversial views.

Anna Snapp will perform her autobiographical solo show, I Found That the Sun Will Rise Tomorrow, as part of the Cannonball Festival. The show is directed by J. Paul Nicholas and runs September 13 through September 27.

Broadway veteran Mr. John Cavazos brings his powerhouse vocals and captivating story to the Winter Park Playhouse stage in his original solo cabaret - My Broadway Footlights - held in The Mandell Theater at Orlando Shakes, September 17 and 18, 2025.
