Hedda discovers that the secret love of her youth, Edmund Lovborg, is coming to compete for a professorship with her academic husband. Lovborg has given up a life of alcoholism, making him all the more interesting and problematic. Will Hedda succumb to forbidden desires, meddle with her husbands job prospects or simply whip up the beautiful and breezy life of a model wife? The suspense could be deadly.Ciccolella promises an intriguing variation of the classic as well as a hint of modern-day secrets.
