Do you love theatre and have a passion for sharing it with others? Consider joining team BroadwayWorld as one of our local contributors!

BWW is always seeking talented theater enthusiasts to head up feature coverage our over 130 regional areas. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to review the shows of your choice, conduct interviews with local and touring talent, design features of your own choosing for publishing, and work/network with your local theater press reps to bring exposure to the theatrical offerings in your area.

All applicants should have excellent writing skills and an interest for giving local theaters and productions some prominence on BroadwayWorld.com.

Joni Lorraine

Joni Lorraine

Joni joined BroadwayWorld in 2016 after over twenty-five years of involvement in the Central Texas theatre scene.  She has worked as a company member and educator for Pollyanna Children's Theatre. She is a B Iden Payne nominated director whose acting and directing work has been seen in Austin with her own theatre company NxNW Theatre Company, Austin Children's Theatre, The Sam Bass Theatre in Round Rock, The Georgetown Palace, and The Temple Civic Theatre. Joni's diverse directing portfolio includes You Can't Take It With You, Steel Magnolias,The Marriage of Figaro, and the award winning I Love You, You're Perfect Now Change. As an actor, Joni has been seen in dozens of productions including Arcadia, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Man Who Came To Dinner, The Taming of The Shrew, and Hay Fever. Joni is also a spiritual director (not too be confused with theatre director) chaplain and professional photographer. She lives in Cedar Park TX with her wonderful wife Tammy and their rescue dog, Edgar. 

Sabrina Wallace

Sabrina Wallace

Sabrina Wallace is an Argentine executive advisor, critic, writer, and theatre advocate based in Austin, Texas. An Olivier Award-winning producer of Dear England and Drama Desk Award-winning producer of The Prom, she has also co-produced 13 Going on 30 - the musical, which will make its North American debut in Toronto in 2026.

Her investment portfolio spans acclaimed productions including the Tony Award-winning The OutsidersSunset Blvd.Company, and The Inheritance, alongside UK favorites such as EvitaDreamgirls, and Dr. Semmelweis, among many others.

Committed to the arts, Wallace champions original, thought-provoking work that reflects the diversity of the human experience. Her debut play, At the Edge of Nowhere, will receive a staged reading in September 2026.

Victoria Schwarz

Vikki Schwarz (she/her) is an Austin-area composer and arranger working in church music, elementary music, and local theater. She is the Music Director and Lead Composer/Arranger for Archive Theatre (Cyrano, Macbeth [nominated for Broadway World and B. Iden Payne Awards], A Sherlock Holmes Christmas, Raven-Winged Hours). She also composes and directs music for Diverse Dance Space Theatre, Austin Children’s Theatre, and Interwoven Theatre. Other works include My Big Fat Bahookie, Far From Avalon, Not My Mother, and A Fat Search for Love. Upcoming projects include Roaring Three Musketeers for Archive Theatre, Lockdown (short form opera), and False Starts, Falls, Fouls or The Art of Making Mistakes (Diverse Dance Space Theatre).
