Lyft And The Woodruff Arts Center Partner Up To Put Atlanta Arts & Culture 'In The Spotlight' Lyft, the nation's fastest-growing on-demand transportation company in the U.S., and The Woodruff Arts Center, one of the largest arts venues in the U.S., are today announcing their new partnership to make it easier for Atlanta arts patrons to get to and from art exhibitions and performances at the popular landmark.

Lyft, which is now the official rideshare sponsor of The Woodruff Arts Center, has established two dedicated pick-up and drop-off locations at the Center to simplify travel before and after a visit.

"We're truly delighted to work with such a beloved Atlanta organization," said Sam Bond, general manager of Lyft Southeast. "Through this partnership with The Woodruff Arts Center, local arts patrons can skip the drive and just enjoy their day at the symphony, museum or theatre."

The Woodruff delivers world-class arts and arts education programming via its three Art Partners: the Tony Award-winning ALLIANCE THEATRE, GRAMMY Award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and nationally-renowned High Museum of Art. The Woodruff Arts Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary this fall and is the nation's third-largest arts center. The Woodruff and its Art Partners serve approximately 800,000 patrons each year, including 200,000 students and children.

In addition to its celebrated programming, The Woodruff Arts Center's Home Depot Veterans Program provides no-cost access to the arts for veterans and military families.

Lyft has recently built relationships with some of Atlanta's most important institutions. In addition to its partnership with The Woodruff Arts Center, the company has forged landmark alliances with local giants like the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Zoo Atlanta and Delta-all within the last year. Lyft also enjoys a special partnership with Delta Air Lines, a leading Woodruff Arts Center corporate partner.

"We are always working to improve the patron experience. Part of that means making the journey as easy as possible," said Doug Shipman, President and CEO of The Woodruff Arts Center. "Our location in Midtown is perfect for so many things, but it means we have to find better solutions when it comes to parking." He continued, "One of the last worries I want to have when traveling is finding a parking space. Lyft can alleviate that concern and let patrons just get to the art!"

Requesting a ride on Lyft's app is easy and quick. Visit Lyft's website to learn more: www.Lyft.com. Use the code WOODRUFFARTS for new users. It is valid for $5 off your first two rides. Here is a URL to access the code.

Lyft was founded in June 2012 by Logan Green and John Zimmer to improve people's lives with the world's best transportation. Lyft is the fastest growing rideshare company in the U.S. and is available to 95 percent of the US population as well as in Ontario, Canada. Lyft is preferred by drivers and passengers for its safe and friendly experience, and its commitment to effecting positive change for the future of our cities.

The Woodruff Arts Center is one of the largest arts centers in the world, home to the TONY-Award winning ALLIANCE THEATRE, the GRAMMY-Award winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the High Museum of Art, the leading art museum in the Southeast. The Woodruff Arts Center also offers remarkable education programming through each of its Art Partners. Through their combined efforts, The Woodruff Arts Center serves over 200,000 students annually and is the largest arts educator in Georgia. www.woodruffcenter.org
