According to the London Evening Standard, Salma Hayek once withdrew from plans to star in a Broadway musical due to severe stage fright.

The actress, who says she's secure on camera but not onstage, told the London Evening Standard, "It would have been the worst musical ever...I think the only way I can overcome my stage fright would be here in London. I cured my phobia of snakes in 'From Dusk Till Dawn.' But the fear of the audience looking at me - that's a whole other thing."
