Serino/Coyne, the nation's leading live-entertainment marketing agency, today announced that Angelo Desimini, currently chief operating officer, will assume the role of CEO, effective immediately. Nancy Coyne, founder and current CEO, will become chairman. Greg Corradetti continues as president of the firm. This planned transition builds on the 15-year working relationship between the leaders.

Based in New York, Serino/Coyne is part of the DAS Group of Companies, a division of Omnicom Group Inc. In his new role, Desimini will report directly to Dale A. Adams, chairman and CEO, the DAS Group of Companies.

"Angelo's vision, combined with his commitment to the talent and clients of the firm, will lead the firm and its clients to even greater success not only in the near term, but also in the long term. He thrives in a changing environment and as COO created a proven track record of making fast decisions that brought results to their clients. I am looking forward to working with Angelo as he builds strategic partnerships with Omnicom agencies in his new position," said Adams. "Angelo succeeds Nancy Coyne, who has had a tremendous impact not only on this firm but on the industry."

Desimini joined Serino/Coyne in 1999 as an account executive, quickly being promoted to group director, then director of account management, all while guiding a diverse set of clients, from Disney Theatrical Productions to the Nederlander Organization, overseeing Tony winners, blockbusters, and groundbreaking successes. He became chief operating officer in 2010.

"I am honored to assume the role of CEO of Serino/Coyne. My main objective is to build upon the foundation Nancy has established by working with our deeply talented and experienced Serino/Coyne team, our esteemed clients and industry peers to continue developing best-in-market campaigns for the shows we all love. Our business is more sophisticated than ever. Our depth of experience in data analysis, digital marketing and attention-getting creative content, coupled with our strong Omnicom relationships, places us in a unique position to partner with our clients on the next era of live entertainment marketing," said Desimini.

Nancy Coyne commented, "It is a perfect time for Angelo to take on the chief executive's job. Angelo continues to redefine our business in ways that both celebrate our rich history while also bringing us boldly into the future. He is known for being direct and honest with employees and clients, and for nurturing talent. The trust he has earned defines him as a leader."

In his new role, Desimini will partner with a strong, long-tenured leadership team that includes Corradetti.

"I'm excited about this transition and the future vision for the firm. I look forward to continuing to work with Angelo to deliver world-class service to clients that includes both expanded services and newly developed partnerships," said Corradetti.
