For its premiere brick-and-mortar store, Garnet Hill chose to open its doors with style, debuting in Long Island's east-end enclave of Bridgehampton. The seasonal store will give fans of the 39-year-old catalog and online retailer a "touch and feel" experience of the beautiful and natural products Garnet Hill is best known for rich bedding sets in soft linen, crisp cotton and heavy woven silks, cashmere robes, relaxed selections in apparel, and more.

The store will feature Garnet Hill's bedding and home decor lines, popular among interior designers and customers, as well as an edited set of customer favorites in sleepwear and apparel. Among the familiar pieces in the Bridgehampton Garnet Hill store will also be new products curated to appeal specifically to the summer community. The store offerings represent the brand's journey from the authentic English cotton flannel sheets that launched Garnet Hill to the full array of beautifully designed, responsibly sourced, inspirationally-styled products that have buoyed the company to success today.

"We've put a lot of thought and care into our premiere store's design and location. And Bridgehampton with a charming downtown that is both low-key and a destination for home design resources felt like a perfect fit for us," said Garnet Hill president and CEO Claire Spofford. "We've designed a dynamic and surprising experience, with products and event programming that ensures the store will always feel a little different. We think customers who know and love us will be excited to 'meet' us for the first time and we'll be a pleasant surprise to new customers as well."

Located at the center of Bridgehampton's downtown district, the 1,700-square foot store was envisioned as a hallmark of the Garnet Hill spirit, featuring an interior that juxtaposes the honest simplicity of the company's New England roots with the comforts and coziness of the modern coastal lifestyle. For the design of the store, Garnet Hill tapped New York-based creative consultancy and design firm Aesthetic Movement, whose recent projects include designing the premier stores for Fred Segal Japan, and whose brand partners include the likes of Fishs Eddy, Izola, Sir/Madam, Thomaspaul and Chilewich among many more.

The official grand opening of the store will happen Saturday, June 27thin a co-sponsored event with HC&G (Hamptons Cottages & Gardens) magazine andKendell Cronstrom, Editor inChief ofHC&G. The store will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM each day and operate through Labor Day.

Garnet Hill will also partner with Designer Previews, the premier personalized service that connects homeowners with interior designers and architects, led byseasoned design industry veteran Donna Paul, who will be the store's designer liaison throughout the summer. Paul will introduce Garnet Hill customers to stimulating events and insider opportunities to learn about sourcing, while introducing designers to the beautiful world of Garnet Hill.

The store will be located at 2424 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton, NY, and will be open throughout the summer season. For more information, visit www.garnethill.com
