Tony Award-nominee Craig Bierko has been added to the cast of the hit ABC drama "Boston Legal," according to Variety.

He will play the "intense, grandiose" Jeffrey Coho, a criminal defense lawyer who will be involved in a "multi-episode storyline about a client accused of murdering a judge."  The felmale client will be played by Ashton Holmes, while Katey Sagal ("Married with Children," "Futurama") was also recently cast as her mother.  Bierko will make his first appearance on the third season's second episode, which will air on September 26th.

"Boston Legal" is created by David E. Kelley, whose "Ally McBeal" once featured a guest appearance by Bierko.  The show stars James Spader, William Shatner, Candice Bergen, Rene Auberjonois and more.  It airs on Tuesdays at 10 PM.

Bierko has appeared on Broadway in the 2000 revival of The Music Man (for which he was nominated as Best Actor in a Musical and won a Theatre World Award) and in Thou Shalt Not. His screen credits include Scary Movie 4, Cinderella Man, I'm With Lucy, The Thirteenth Floor, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Sour Grapes.
