The Corner Bookstore and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt have announced that they will be hosting a reading by Marion Meade, author of Lonelyhearts, The Screwball World of Nathanael West and Eileen McKenney on Thursday, March 11th at 6:00 p.m.

Marion Meade returns with this dual biography on author Nathanael West and his wife and muse Eileen McKenney. West and McKenney were at the center of a literary circle that continues to fascinate, and there is no one more qualified to tell their story than Marion Meade, author of Bobbed Hair and Bathtub Gin and What Fresh Hell is This?, a biography of Dorothy Parker.

The reading will take place at the Corner Bookstore, located at 1313 Madison Avenue at 93rd Street. To RSVP call (212) 831-3554 or email cornerbook@aol.com.

Marion Meade is an American biographer and novelist, whose subjects stretch from 12th century French royalty to 20th century stand-up comedians. She is best known for her portraits of literary figures and iconic filmmakers.
