Bid To Meet SCHOOL OF ROCK's Bobbi MacKenzie and Support Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation

One of the many highlights of the big Broadway hit SCHOOL OF ROCK comes when 11-year-old Bobbi MacKenzie, playing the shy Tomika, gets a chance to display her thrilling set of singing pipes with a favorite hymn.

But though SCHOOL OF ROCK is her Broadway debut, Bobbi is no stranger to hearing cheers from audiences, having sung the national anthem before games hosted by the Portland Trailblazers, the Golden State Warriors, the Sacramento Kings and the San Francisco 49ers.

More recently, she helped represent SCHOOL OF ROCK at "Broadway at the White House," hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama.

Charitybuzz is hosting a new online auction for four tickets for SCHOOL OF ROCK, followed by a meet and greet with Bobbi MacKenzie after the performance.

The winning bid will support the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. Founded in 1995 by brothers Russell, Danny and Joseph "Rev. Run" Simmons, the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation is dedicated to providing disadvantaged urban youth with significant exposure and access to the arts, as well as providing exhibition opportunities to under-represented artists and artists of color.
