The 2006 Tony Awards will be the focus of the June 11th edition of A&E's "Breakfast with the Arts," which airs on Sundays from 8 to 10 AM. The program is hosted by Karina Huber.

The 60th Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast on CBS from Radio City Music Hall that night from 8 to 11 PM.

"In anticipation of 60th annual Tony Awards, we'll celebrate the stars, writers, directors, composers and choreographers who made this a year to remember on Broadway. Hear about Michael McKean's life long passion to play in The Pajama Game; uncover the history behind Frankie Valli and his Jersey Boys; learn how Andrew Lloyd Webber and Hal Prince's The Phantom of the Opera became the longest running show on Broadway; and see why it's sweeter this time around for Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Michael Cerveris. Find out how The Color Purple went from a Pulitzer Prize winning novel, to an Academy Award nominated film to a Tony nominated Broadway hit; visit with one of Britain's greatest playwrights, Alan Bennett; and recap the season with analysis and predictions of four top theatre critics," state notes on A&E's website.
