Jonathan Kent’s taut and intense production of one of the best loved operas in the repertory thrills from the demonic chords with which it begins, right through to the violent twist of its shock ending.

WOW! What a fun show! I love some of the crazy lines that just pop up out of nowhere, like “Phil Collins can be kick ass sometimes!” Rock of Ages definitely lived up to its hype, and I was super fortunate to see this production. This well paced show boasted soooo many strong performances, I hardly know where to begin.

NYU Skirball's Fall 2023 season will open on Saturday, September 16 with the NYU  Skirball debut of Step Afrika!, followed by DruidO'Casey, a six-hour, epic presentation of Sean O'Casey plays from  Ireland's award-winning Druid Theatre, along with world and North American theater and dance premieres from  acclaimed New York and International companies.
