Starring Broadway regulars like Andy Karl, Orfeh, Jason Danieley, and Eric Anderson, the musical marks the Broadway debut of a new leading lady, Samantha Barks.  

On this day in 2016, the musical adaptation of the hit Bill Murray film, Groundhog Day, made its world premiere at the Old Vic in London.

PRETTY WOMAN is walking down the street... 41st Street. The new musical begins Broadway performances on Friday, July 20, 2018, at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street), with an official opening night of Thursday, August 16, 2018.

Samantha Barks, star of upcoming musical Pretty Woman, joined the show's composer Bryan Adams during one of his concerts in London last month to perform a song form the show, titled 'I Can't Go Back.'

Winners for the 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards were announced just last night at The Town Hall. In keeping with Drama Desk's mission, nominators considered shows that opened on Broadway, Off Broadway and Off-Off Broadway during the 2017-2018 New York Theater season in the same competitive categories.

Actor Bill Murray made headlines this week as he made multiple trips to revisit one of his finest roles in the musical version of his iconic film Groundhog Day on Broadway.

Following the lead of many other Broadway musicals such as Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, and Great Comet, cast members from Groundhog Day have decided to take part in the #Ham4All challenge -- but with a twist! Instead of the typical cover of a Hamilton track, the Groundhog Day cast decided to make a mashup music video with the backbone being My Shot and incorporating lyrics and melodies from songs from their own show.
