Roundabout Theatre Company has announced casting for the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award® winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The Mystery Of Edwin Drood will star Stephanie J. Block (Edwin Drood), Will Chase (John Jasper), Gregg Edelman (Reverend Mr. Crisparkle), Jim Norton (Chairman) and Chita Rivera (Princess Puffer) with Andy Karl (Neville Landless), Jessie Mueller (Helena Landless), Betsy Wolfe (Rosa Bud), Nicholas Barasch (Deputy), Peter Benson (Bazzard), Robert Creighton (Durdles), Alison Cimmet, Nick Corley, Justin Greer, Shannon Lewis, Kiira Schmidt, Eric Sciotto, Jim Walton, Cody Williams. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

The new musical adaptation of ROCKY met the German press, including a mini-concert by the show's stars! The show will open this November in Hamburg under the direction of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER Tony nominee Alex Timbers.

Last night, March 12, Robert Redford hosted the first-ever New York benefit celebrating the Sundance Institute Theatre Program at The Bowery Hotel. Participants included Sundance Institute Theatre Program alumni Denis O'Hare (Performance of An Iliad, at New York Theatre Workshop), Lisa Peterson Scott Frankel, Jeanine Tesori, Georgi James and Christine Ebersole, who recreated 'Little Edie Beale' from Grey Gardens. JERSEY BOYS Broadway stars Matt Bogart, Andy Karl, Jarrod Spector, Quinn VanAntwerp recently performed on 'Imus In The Morning' on the Fox Business News. The performance opens with Jarrod Spector (as Frankie Valli)singing 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You,' then the other three stars join him to sing a wonderful medley, including 'Who Loves You?' and the show-stopper, 'Oh What a Night.'

9 To 5: The Musical marks the Broadway debut of seven-time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and musician Dolly Parton as composer and lyricist.

'The Battery's Down,' the hit online television series, returned for a second season last month. Filmed in a style similar to 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' or 'The Office,' 'The Battery's Down' chronicles The Life of young actor Jake Wilson in New York City. Each twenty-minute, two-part episode will premiere at 12:01AM the first of every month.
