Audiences in Titusville have their own chance to journey to Bikini Bottom and visit SpongeBob and friends in Titusville Playhouse’s 58th season opener – THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL – a visual feast of a show featuring an outstanding cast which delivers a fun, family-friendly, and highly entertaining night at the theatre.

Returning to the road in 2022, The Greeting Committee will embark on an extensive North American headline tour this Fall. It kicks off on November 6 at Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, CO, makes stops in major cities coast-to-coast, and concludes on December 11 at Aisle 5 in Atlanta, GA. Support acts for the five-week jaunt will be revealed soon.

The award-winning NTPA Repertory Theatre’s production of The Spongebob Musical opens July 15 and runs through July 24. To celebrate our 5th season, they are offering a special discounted rate exclusively to BWW readers!

Ahead of the mini-album's release, Daniel has shared the video for first single 'Is It Going To Get Deeper Than This? (Dark Room Mix)'. Directed by Fletcher Pratt, the video propels artwork by Robert Beatty (Oneohtrix Point Never, The Weeknd, The Flaming Lips) into three-dimensions, Pratt sculpting a shimmering labyrinth.

The SpongeBob Musical is set to make a big splash at The Firehouse Theatre this summer! Based on the beloved animated Nickelodeon series and featuring all the classic characters you know and love, this sponge-tacular musical will transport audiences directly to Bikini Bottom. The show will run from July 20-August 14.

What did our critic think?If you don't have cable, watch SpongeBob Squarepants nor any clue why SpongeBob should be a Broadway musical, no worries. Everything is made clear for those entering Bikini Bottom for the first time. It's packed with family theater elements: bright colors, important themes, messages of friendship, catchy tunes and slapstick comedy. Best day ever!

I was fascinated from the moment I first heard that Fairfield Center Stage was going to perform a musical called THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, as I did not previously know that such a musical existed.  What I knew, however, is that if it is being put on by Fairfield Center Stage, it is going to be a phenomenal production!   On Friday, June 17th, I had the pleasure of experiencing Fairfield Center Stage’s continued commitment to providing excellent theater that goes that extra mile, when I saw THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL on opening night, at Fairfield Ludlowe High School in Fairfield, CT.   Director Joel Fenster, musical director Benjamin Doyle, choreographer Lindsay Johnson, artistic director Christy McIntosh-Newsom, and Executive Producer Eli Newsom all combine their talents with the rest of the crew and this stellar cast to give the audience yet another first-rate performance!

First Stage has announced their 2022/23 season. The full season kicks off in October at the Marcus Center’s Todd Wehr Theater with the fun world premiere musical ARTHUR AND FRIENDS MAKE A MUSICAL! written by First Stage Resident Playwright John Maclay (THE LEGEND OF ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS), with music and lyrics by Brett Ryback.

Florida Rep's Education Conservatory Program will present “The SpongeBob Musical,” based on Stephen Hillenburg's beloved Nickelodeon animated series, “SpongeBob SquarePants.” Performances will be held May 19 through 22, and May 25 through 28, in the Historic Arcade Theatre.

StoryBook Theatre will bring Nickelodeon's iconic series to the stage with The SpongeBob Musical from April 22 – June 4 on Tuesdays to Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m., where the show will impress and delight its audience with themes of self-identity, community and optimism. 

Palo Alto Players, the Peninsula's first theatre company, announces its 92nd season titled FULL SPEED AHEAD, and it's packed with stories the whole family can enjoy. The 2022-23 line-up, beginning August 2022, was first unveiled at online event on Sunday, March 27th by Artistic Director Patrick Klein.

'Joggers From Mossley To Malibu Beach' is the second eclectic glimpse into Heavy Salad’s forthcoming second album ‘Long Wave,’ set for release later this year. The follow-up to warmly received debut ‘Cult Casual’ was recorded between the band’s current base in Manchester and Damon Albarn’s Studio 13 in West London, and saw Heavy Salad strike up a creative partnership with producer Stephen Street, as well as Christophe Bride (A Certain Ratio).
