This year's Tony Awards nominations were announced this morning by Lea Michele and Myles Frost and here they are, celebrating the best of the 2022-23 theatre season.

The Outer Critics Circle has announced the nominees for the 72nd Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards, honoring the 2022-2023 Broadway and Off-Broadway season. Leading the pack with the most honors of the season is the Broadway musical New York, New York, with twelve nominations. As if the universe knew that our increasingly divisive country is in desperate need to revisit this hit 2002 Tony Award-winning musical again, HAIRSPRAY has now embarked on a brand new non-equity national tour starring RuPaul's Drag Race fan favorite Nina West. The show, now at Segerstrom Center for the Arts through April 30, does not disappoint.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) has announced the second annual Summer for the City, the ultimate New York festival.

A new national tour of HAIRSPRAY, adapted from the original 2002 Broadway production, has arrived at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City, bringing with it effervescent joy.

Circuit Playhouse, Inc. will present 15 productions they will produce during their 2023-2024 season. 

This June, Yoshiko Chuma and The School of Hard Knocks return to La MaMa with the world premiere of Shockwave Delay, an unscripted docudrama consisting of 20 chapters, or scenes, that overlap within the frame of two and half hours.

The production will tell the story of Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America, joined by Peggy Carter, Nick Fury and select members of the Avengers. The musical follows Rogers' journey from World War II to leading the Avengers as Captain America. The musical was teased by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman's 'Save the City' in Hawkeye.
