Clint Holmes has had a long and storied career.  He continues to be one of the most electrifying performers on the planet.  As crowed many times before, Clint’s voice, phrasing, physicality, and apple watch like jazz time are extraordinary.  When these unique skills are applied to his current show titled “Between The Moon And New York City”, the songbook and life of Peter Allen are given an original and inspired new take.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present singers Stacy Sullivan and Todd Murray in the new show “I’m Glad There Is You – The Musical Romance of Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee” on Monday, October 31 at 8:30 PM.

The one-off unique pairing of Daisy Jopling the fiery British classical/rock violinist and singer/actor/entertainer Frank Shiner produced an exciting evening of music at the Iridium last night. Broadway and 51st street didn’t just have the Sound Of Music at street level. It was also very much below ground in the Iridium night club as these two artists thrilled an overflow audience. Jones could jettison the songs and still have a solid 30 minutes of comedy and vice/versa. If he just stood there and sang, well that would make a pretty awesome evening too.
