The Path Fund's 22nd annual ROCKERS ON BROADWAY 80's REWIND benefit concert will honor 80's Pop Princess, Debbie Gibson with the Rockers Lifetime Achievement Award on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleeker Street) at 7:30 p.m. ROCKERS ON BROADWAY is a fun and unique charity concert that will feature Broadway's best rockers performing the biggest hits in 80's Rock n' Roll. The award winning actor/composer/lyricist/recording artist behind the internationally celebrated concept album, Iron & Coal, will star alongside up-and-coming singer/songwriters Maximilian Sangerman and Brook Wood to present select music from the original musical play (book by Emily Goodson) ahead of its NY premier at the 2015 Adirondack Theatre Festival, July 23-Aug 1. On Dec. 1st at Playwright's Horizons, the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Greater NY Chapter held their annual Curtains Up For A Cure concert & silent auction with proceeds benefitting Huntington's Disease research. The concert was Produced by Meredith Patterson, who (among other Broadway credits) originated the role of Judy Haynes on Broadway in Irving Berlin's White Christmas. Ms. Patterson reprised her role last year in the 2013 Broadway National Tour. (more...)
