Country superstar Trisha Yearwood will host the 10th annual a?oeCMA Country Christmas,a?? the two-hour music celebration that airs on ABC during the holiday season. In addition to her hosting duties, Yearwood will also perform on the Christmas special, taking the stage for a night filled with Christmas classics and festive one-of-a-kind collaborations.

RECORDS/Arista Nashville recording artist Matt Stell will perform his Top 15 and rising single “Prayed For You” during a special episode of ABC's summer reality series, Bachelor in Paradise. Filmed in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Stell's romantic performance takes place as Bachelor in Paradise alums Krystal Neilson and Chris Randone say “I DO!” in front of Bachelor in Paradise hopefuls and other friends of the franchise. The episode is scheduled to air Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at 8/7c on ABC.

Trevor Rosen, hit songwriter and founding member of ACM and CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Old Dominion, has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Twelve6 Entertainment. The deal includes publishing on Rosen's existing catalog of hits in addition to his new compositions going forward.

In February 2018, Chris Janson took the stage at his first-ever, sold-out headlining Ryman Auditorium show, where he was invited by superstar Keith Urban to fulfill a lifelong dream and become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Just a year and a half later, on September 25, the Platinum-selling, award-winning, established Opry member Janson will return for a second headlining concert at the historic venue that this week has officially sold out.

ABC Radio will provide three three-hour specials to affiliates for use over Labor Day weekend: “Labor Day Rock Rewind,” “Raised on '90s Country Salute,” and “America Works.” 

The Country Music Association visited Charlotte Wednesday, Aug. 7 with Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Jordan Reynolds and Frank Rogers. During the trip, the songwriters met with band students from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as part of U.S. Bank's Community Possible giving and engagement platform and its Places to Play partnership with the CMA Foundation, followed by a CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank performance at the McGlohon Theater.   

After surprising fans at Spotify House at Ole Red during CMA Music Fest last month, powerhouse vocalists Chris Youngand Lauren Alaina, have now released their collaboration, “Town Ain't Big Enough,” to digital and streaming services! The breakup anthem is written by Chris Young with Cary Barlowe, Corey Crowder and Shay Mooney, who also contributes background vocals on the track.

After launching his USAA sponsored “Raised On Country World Tour 2019” in May, multi-platinum entertainer Chris Young has already played to capacity crowds over the first 12 shows of his headlining tour. And the massive momentum continues as he announces another nineteen shows to round out his record-setting year. With over 25 dates for the first leg of shows going through September 14, Chris Young's “Raised On Country World Tour 2019” will resume September 26 in Erie, PA through November 23, wrapping his 2019 45+ city tour at Lexington's Rupp Arena. He'll be joined by special guest Eli Young Band as direct support along with Matt Stell for the fall run beginning September 26.

The Country Music Association's acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance in Charlotte at the McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square Wednesday, Aug. 7 featuring Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Jordan Reynolds and Frank Rogers. The series hosts an intimate round of performances with some of Country Music's top songwriting talent taking turns sharing the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance start at $15 plus service fees and go on sale Friday, July 12 at 10:00 AMET at Blumenthal Performing Arts. $1 of each ticket sold will benefit the CMA Foundation, CMA's philanthropic arm, which is committed to improving and sustaining high quality music education programs across the United States. 

Centenary Stage Company's Summer Musical Theatre Series kicks off with Dan Goggin's hilarious comedy Nunsense July 11 through July 21 in the Lackland Performing Arts Center.

Innsbrook After Hours announced that Kane Brown's performance at the SERVPRO of Richmond Pavilion has been rescheduled to September 8th. Brown's performance in May was postponed due to weather. Four straight days of sold-out shows and capacity crowds, as well as surprise performances and collaborations, made the 48th annual CMA Fest one for the record books. At Nissan Stadium, Lil Nas X created one of the festival's most talked-about moments Saturday night, joined by Billy Ray Cyrus and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban for an epic surprise performance of “Old Town Road,” the No. 1 song in the country for 10 weeks and running. 

Electrifying entertainer Chris Janson spread “Good Vibes” state to state on Saturday and Sunday during one of the biggest country music weekends of the year. Kicking it off at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Janson joined the “King of Country” George Strait and superstar Blake Shelton for the Buckeye Country Superfest (6/8). He then travelled to Nashville for his “Friend Party” with fans at his Warner Music Nashville label headquarters on Music Row before taking the stage at Nissan Stadium later than evening (6/9).

Opening week at the Stratford Festival came to a close on Saturday evening with director Antoni Cimolino's production of Shakespeare's THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR. Reimagined to take place in the early 1950's, this production is outrageously funny, with charming and distinctive performances by all involved.

If you are in Stratford, Ontario and are looking for a good time, look no further than this season's production of horror comedy rock musical LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. There aren't a whole lot of shows that can call themselves a horror comedy rock musical, but if you frequent these parts…or, you know, have a pulse, chances are you saw one last year too. The success of last season's THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW has sent the message that audiences get a kick out of the subversive escape that this kind of show can offer, and so, Director/Choreographer Donna Feore is serving up another delicious hit in the same vein as ROCKY HORROR (puns intended).

The 67th season at the Stratford Festival is officially underway, and off to an exciting start after Monday's opening night performance of OTHELLO. Directed by Nigel Shawn Williams and starring Michael Blake in the titular role, this production is thought provoking and electrifying from start to finish.

After a celebrated opening weekend for the North American leg of Chris Young's “Raised On Country World Tour 2019,” WUBL Atlanta MD/afternoon personality Otis Maher declared to Country Aircheck, “Chris had the crowd singing along to every song.
