The Olivier Award-nominated production of My Son's a Queer, (But what can you do?) has announced RuPaul's Drag Race UK superstar Victoria Scone and award-winning writer Jamie Windust as their two guests for the grand finale of their Queer Hero Thursdays on 30 March. This series of events sees star of the show Rob Madge welcome icons from the LGBTQ+ community for an audience Q&A about their experiences growing up and finding positivity in the world around them.

Following a sell-out season last November, the 70th Anniversary Australian tour of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap will return to Brisbane for a short season from 26 May at the Playhouse, QPAC. The national tour of the world's longest-running play has played to capacity audiences since it opened in Sydney last October.

There is beauty in the simplicity of this concept. My Son's A Queer (But What Can You Do?) is a tale about growing up. More specifically, the 'ups and downs of raising a queer child.' It is also clearly a production made for and by generations of theatre kids, the kind who prefer to stay in the dress-up section of the school (especially if it gets them out of a football match).
